Commercial Interior Wallcovering – Odgers Canada

For this high-end commercial interior project at Odgers in downtown Ottawa, we refreshed the wallcovering in their boardroom with a new, professionally installed finish. The project required careful preparation and attention to detail to ensure the walls were properly conditioned to receive the new wallcovering.

The existing wallcovering was first carefully removed. We then pole-sanded the walls to smooth out any remaining backing and imperfections. The surfaces were sealed with the appropriate primer before any necessary patching, skim coating, and sanding was completed. A second primer coat was then applied to create a smooth, properly prepared surface for the new wallcovering.

Once the walls were fully prepared, we installed the new wallcovering using professional-grade adhesive, creating a clean and seamless finished appearance throughout the boardroom.

Timing was especially important on this project. Odgers had a branding specialist travelling from Toronto to update the company’s branding on the boardroom wall, making it essential that our portion of the project be completed before Monday. To meet the deadline, our team worked through the weekend and completed the wallcovering installation on a tight schedule.

“I had not used Elite Painting before but based on his website, I reached out to get a quote to remove and replace the wall covering in our boardroom and repaint a wall before we changed our signage to our new brand name. This project had a tight timeframe and had to be done perfectly so we could put up the new signage in time for our launch. Nima Nassiri responded quickly, came to our site (other companies I contacted did not – they quoted based on pictures) and provided a very competitive quote.

As I am based in Toronto, he was in constant communication with me to discuss the process and any potential issues and always provided a solution. He worked into the evening and on weekends to ensure the work was done. He takes great pride in his work and the end result was perfect. He was very attentive to the details and ensured the space was kept clean throughout the process. Our Ottawa colleagues commented on how communicative he was about anything that could be disruptive and was respectful of their time and working space. I highly recommend Nima and Elite Painting. It was a wonderful experience working with him. Thank you Nima!”
