Blockhouse Point Lighthouse Wallpaper Installation | Rocky Point, PEI

A little piece of Island history.

The first light at Blockhouse Point was established in 1851, making it the second-oldest lighthouse site on Prince Edward Island, behind Point Prim. The lighthouse standing today was built in 1876 and has watched over the entrance to Charlottetown Harbour for nearly 150 years.

We had the opportunity to complete a small part of BMD Construction’s huge renovation of the lighthouse. We installed three ocean themed wallpapers in the bathroom and bedrooms of this very historic property. Happy we could take part in this restoration!
