Interior Painting Renovation – Haddow

This extensive interior painting project in Edmonton’s Haddow neighborhood was part of a larger renovation that tied the main floor, second floor, and basement stairwell into one cohesive, updated look. The focus was on high‑quality prep, durable products, and a warm, modern palette carried consistently throughout the home.

Our Edmonton interior team completed:

• Full prep and priming across main and second‑floor spaces and down through the basement stairwell
• Repairs to walls, ceilings, MDF trim, and other surfaces to correct imperfections before finish coats
• Two‑coat finishes using:
  • • Benjamin Moore Regal on walls and closets for a smooth, durable finish
    • Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa in bathrooms, suited to moisture and frequent cleaning
    • Sherwin‑Williams Extreme Bond Primer and Gallery Waterborne Topcoat on custom closet built‑ins for strong adhesion and a fine, furniture‑grade surface

Detail work was a major part of the project, including:

• A custom walnut handrail system (approximately 35 linear feet), stained and clear‑coated with Sherwin‑Williams Gallery Clear
• A paint‑grade railing shoe finished with Benjamin Moore Advance, paired with the walnut handrail for contrast and durability
• Refinished basement stringers and baseboards, with corrected MDF defects for sharp, clean lines
• A sprayed fireplace surround, giving the feature a smooth, updated finish that anchors the main living area

The completed renovation showcases a cohesive palette of warm neutrals, soft greens, and custom wood detailing, creating a comfortable, connected feel from the main level up through the second floor and down the stairwell toward the basement.
