Chris McDonah
Owner, Sales
Chris turned a summer job into over a 20-year career at Elite—he sees it as a lifestyle, not work. He loves how paint can transform a space. Outside of business, Chris spends time with his family, cheers on his daughters in competitive soccer, and plays golf.
Brad Campbell
Owner, Operator
Brad has owned Elite Calgary for 15 years, bringing 22 years of industry experience running and training crews, managers, and teams. Brad balances work with coaching hockey for three of his four sons, officiating games, camping, and music—all while maintaining his Nova Scotian roots. He is also a Dale Carnegie Business Advisor.
Carson
Carson brings technical expertise and six summers of painting experience to Elite— amazingly, he kept his colour blindness a secret for years. These days he focuses on company systems and operations, where he values patience and empathy in all his interactions. He’s also an outdoor enthusiast who loves skiing and mountain biking.
Colin
Colin has over 20 years of international painting experience from Ireland, England, Australia, the USA—and Canada with Elite. He loves varied projects, like the Drumheller dinosaur museum he worked on a couple of years ago. Beyond managing crews with precision, he has an unexpected past as a funeral director. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gun range and hanging out with friends and family.
Erin
Erin joined Elite 3 years ago after being referred by a friend because of her incredible customer service experience. Erin is your first and last point of contact for your projects, whether you have a $500 job or a massive $50000 undertaking. She is a World of Warcraft enthusiast who also enjoys music, reading, and plants.
Jeff
Jeff brings 30 years of professional painting experience to Elite and builds strong relationships with clients. He loves how paint can make a space fresh and new again. His favourite line when starting multi-day projects? "I don't want to live here. I just want to work here."
Oscar
Oscar has over 25 years of experience in painting with Elite. His sales background makes him well-suited to client services, but he also has technical skills, including high-end spray work and specialized surface treatments. As a former military man, Oscar values respect and responsibility. When he's not working, you'll often find him at his home billiards table.
Mouaid
Mouaid started painting at 13 in Syria and owned a painting company by age 24. He also worked in Lebanon and Turkey before joining Elite 3 years ago. Although he obtained IT credentials in Canada, his passion for painting prevailed—and we’re happy to have him. Mouaid loves spray painting and managing complex projects like the work we did at the Stoney Nakoda Hotel.
Melissa
Melissa combined her love of art with her preference for physical work when she joined Elite 7 years ago. She has experience in custom cabinets and furniture refinishing, and values teamwork and clear client communication. Outside of work, Melissa puts family time first through camping, dirt biking, and weekly family dinners.
Alexis
Alexis started painting at Elite while working toward a degree. After trying pipefitting and social work, she found she preferred a paintbrush. (Lucky for us.) She keeps busy offsite playing soccer several times a week and spending time with her dog, Ellie.
Dan
After 35 years in painting, Dan brings meticulous attention to detail and a genuine customer focus to Elite. He likes seeing the smile on clients’ faces when the job is done. When he’s not transforming spaces, Dan enjoys outdoor activities—from fishing to hiking. He lives by his motto—"Never compromise your values."
Kyle
Kyle discovered his painting talent at 19 and has been with Elite for 10 years. He specializes in high-quality spray applications and project management. When he’s not transforming spaces with specialty paints, Kyle skis, works on his car, and does home renovations. Fun fact: he once taught English in a Laotian monastery during his honeymoon.
