Time to Paint the Daycare or School!
Elite Trade Painting paints many daycares and schools each year with many of them being repeat clients. We know that accommodating the schedules of daycares and schools require after hours, weekend and sometimes holiday work.
No VOC Paint for Daycares
Durable paints and primers with no VOC are a must for every daycare and school. We use products for these high wear and tear areas that dry quickly and provide a washable and scrub able surface.
Organizing the Painting of Daycares
We know that organization is key to the successful painting of any daycare or school. We provide a plan that lays out when areas will be started and finished. We will start and finish areas prior to starting any new areas. Our goal is to provide minimal disruption to any class and minimize the tasks involved from your staff preparing for painting.
We generally can accommodate most requests, even short notice ones. However, having a job planned well in advance of job start is always best. Typically, we have most daycares and schools book several weeks in advance and sometimes months in advance, especially when weekend and holiday work is required.
The selection of colours is made easy with Elite Trade Painting. We provide colour charts and samples as well as guide you in the use of our suppliers’ online tools.
We understand that painting is a regular occurrence. In a busy daycare, maintenance and accommodating the daycares’ schedule is essential. We work with our daycares with after-hours, weekend, and holiday work, which is part of our service to all our daycare clientele.
We do most of the work during inoperative hours, so we need our daycare clients to provide us with tidy space. Including, all artwork and posters off of the walls and furniture moved to the middle of the rooms that we are completing that day. Our Elite estimators and staff will work with the daycare coordinators to organise the daily schedule of their painting project.
Ceilings look best painted with a white flat latex paint. A flat paint will provide a better perception of height, and the white provides light reflection to help keep a room looking bright.
The majority of clients choose an eggshell latex paint for their walls; this is a washable, scrubbable finish that looks good and has a low sheen.
Trim needs a durable coating that provides easy cleaning and protection from heavy usage. The number one choice for trim is white semi-gloss acrylic, while white satin acrylic is the second most common choice.
Interior paints are ready to recoat after a couple of hours, are dry to touch in 4 to 6 hours, and typically cure in 28 days. Clients should avoid washing painted surfaces until the paint completely cures.
Our Process – Simple. Professional. Well Communicated.
It begins with a quote request; then, a follow-up call to go over the project and arrange a site visit. We will create a custom and detailed quote(s) from our onsite review.
Once you review your quote(s), you can proceed to book the job by calling your estimator or their office, sending an email, text, or accepting it through our online quote system.
In the booking process, we will confirm options for start dates. Then there is a discussion and a plan created for colour options. Once approved, a team is scheduled for your project.
When our team arrives, onsite preparation and painting will commence—completing the project in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the high standards for Elite projects.
Upon completion and inspection, we will clean the site removing all gear/equipment. We will then protect the quality of your project with our two-year guarantee. We will provide you with an invoice for review.
