Need to Pick Exterior Paint Colours!
The selection of exterior paint colours can go from the traditional whites and grey to the bolder yellows and reds. There are some general rules to follow with exterior colours; although, the prevailing rule is picking the colour that you like best.
We typically do not recommend bold and bright colours because they often fade quicker. More muted tones are the common choice in exterior painting because of their colour retention. There are so many colours to choose, and the right choice can still seem daunting. We will provide you with colour decision making strategies, tools, and support.
A tried and true suggested strategy for exterior colour selection is a drive around neighbourhoods noting colours you like and trying to find houses with similar styles to yours.

Online Colour Tools
Our partner suppliers each have colours available online that you can view from home. These websites are a great way to start your search for colours; however, we do add a word of caution that colours on your computer screen may not exactly be as shown. The colour is only as good as the screen on which it appears. A client should never rely solely on these online resources and should get a sample of the true colour before proceeding.
Colours within the below links are suitable for: siding, trim, cement, brick, aluminium siding, metal surfaces, plastics, solid stains, epoxy coatings, and porch and floor paint.

Visualizers
A colour visualizer allows a client to utilise a picture of the side(s) of the exterior of their home and see it with the colours they choose. These visualizers are great tools that are easy to work with and can help with your colour selections. As with any online colour tool, the colour is only as good as the screen on which it appears. A client should never rely on the visualizer and should get a sample of the true colour before proceeding.
