Terms of Service
Painter for a day is a set fee and is limited to an 8 hour time period
Additional time can be added if needed at $65.00 per hour. A second day or more can be added at anytime. Note: Availability is not always guaranteed however we do our best to continue the project
If a project takes less than the time available and there is no other work to be done the full fee remains as set. There are no credits or refunds
Rescheduling
You can reschedule your Painter for A Day up to 48 hours prior to booking date
Cancellations
Cancellations are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the booking date and shall be refunded Less a $35.00 processing fee Cancellations after 48 hours shall be refunded at 50% of the rate charged
Conditions for Project
Supplied Paint and Materials by Client
We understand that many clients will already have paint and primer purchased. Our painter will not be responsible for poor and unusable product.
Notes:
- Paint can go bad over time especially opened paint. If your paint is older than 6 months it may be best to get new paint
- If older paint is verified as good please ensure it is shaken by a paint store to ensure that it is fully mixed, colourants settle over time.
- Cheaper paints generally get poor results. Meaning poor coverages which translates into multiple coats or poor finishes.
- The top brands of Paint that we recommend are Dulux Lifemaster, Sherwin Williams Super Paint and Benjamin Moore Regal.
- If paints and primers are found to be unusable by the painter we can purchase paint and primer for you at discount. Your painter can pick up and deliver however the time for such will be included in the time allotted. We also can get couriers to deliver at an additional charge ( rate depends on location )
Touch ups
It is important to note that paint colours change over time, even interior paints. Whites will be better than colours. Having colour names and numbers and product info or the original paint used can help with the colours blending. A client should expect some colour and sheen difference whenever touch up are done.
Paint, primer, and materials purchased through Us
We will process your request for product. The paint, primer and materials will be ordered by us at your closest supplier store for your pick up.
Payment for paint, primer and materials shall be processed with the credit card you provide for payment.
Your painter for a day can pick up your paint, primer and materials when possible and the time will be deducted from the time allotment.
Equipment supplied
Equipment is only available for a painter for a day booking. All equipment will be delivered and picked up within 48 hours of the booking date.
Warranty
Painter for a day warranties that all work will be done in a professional manner and shall meet the standards for a quality paint job. There is no extended warranty on Painter for a Day Projects.
Payment terms
All booking are paid for in advance by your credit card. Payment is processed upon confirmation. There are no refunds except as noted above.
Paints and Primers shall be processed on the credit card provided. there are no refunds on paint, primer and materials purchased.
