Brick and Masonry Painting and Staining Burlington

Residential Brick and Masonry

Brick and masonry are designed to stand the test of time. However, you may find that their aesthetic appeal diminishes as the house ages. Both brick and concrete/masonry can fade and become discoloured, leaving your Burlington home looking worse for the wear. Brick and masonry painting and staining can dramatically change the appearance of your home.

Can You Really Paint and Stain Brick and Masonry?

Yes, you can paint and stain brick, as well as many types of masonry. At Elite Trade Painting, we have decades of experience doing just that to help our Burlington area clients improve the look of their home or business.

What Paints Are Used?

We believe that a quality paint or stain job begins with the right products. Because of that, we use only the highest quality paints and stains. We use Dulux Weathergard and Dulux Diamond, as well as Sherwin Williams A-100 and Sherwin Williams Resilience paints. We use Dulux Perma Crete and Permatint, as well.

How Does Brick and Masonry Painting and Staining Work?

Whether you choose us to paint your brick home, or you decide that staining is the better option for your masonry work, the process begins the same way. We must first prepare the area to be worked on, which means power washing.

We use state-of-the-art power washing equipment and cleaning chemicals to remove:

Dirt

Dust

Pollen

Mould

These elements are contaminants and can compromise the quality of the project. By power washing first, we remove the build-up and ensure the best possible results for your home. Once your home’s exterior has dried, we then proceed with painting or staining.

With brick and masonry painting, we will apply two coats of paint, unless you have existing paint, in which case a single coat will be enough in most cases. If you choose staining, two coats are usually required, as well.

Note that we are happy to fully cover the brick/masonry and mortar, or we can paint or stain individual bricks and leave the mortar the original colour.

Colour Options to Fit Your Sense of Style

At Elite Trade Painting, we offer the range of colours you want and need. Whether you want to brighten up your home’s exterior, or add a touch of glass, we can help. Note that some colours will affect coverage and may require additional coats.
