Brick and Masonry Painting in Langley
Brick is an elegant, classic building material that is used for both homes and businesses in the Langley area. Masonry also plays a role, including everything from decorative elements to facades to entire buildings. However, both of these materials age, fade, and become discoloured over time. Elite Trade Painting can help – our brick and masonry painting and staining services add life and beauty.
Why Is Brick and Masonry Painting Needed?
Like other siding materials used on the exterior of your home, brick and masonry are both subject to UV-related fading and degradation. Over time, these materials will become discoloured and lose their beauty. Brick and masonry painting and staining breathe new life into your home or business, adding a touch of colour to your property.
What Products Are Used for Brick and Masonry Painting and Staining in Langley?
At Elite Trade Painting, we believe that delivering the best results to our customers begins with the highest quality products on the market. In the 35 years we’ve been serving customers in and around Langley, we have tested many different paints and stains, and we’ve found that Dulux and Sherwin Williams offer the best benefits as paints. They’re durable, resilient, and long lasting.
We use Dulux Weathergard and Dulux Diamond paint, as well as Sherwin Williams A-100 and Resilience paints. For tints, we use Dulux Perma Crete, but also Permantint, which is produced by a different company.
How Does Brick and Masonry Painting and Tinting Work?
Whether you choose to go with painting or opt for staining, the process begins in the same way. Our first priority will be to ensure that your home or business is clean and free of debris that might mar the results you enjoy. We apply powerful yet environmentally-friendly cleaning chemicals and then use modern power washing equipment to remove mould, mildew, pollen, dirt, and built up dust.
Once the surface is clean and dry, we begin applying the paint or tint. Most products will require two coats for full coverage, and we use rollers, sprayers, and brushes to achieve the best results for our clients. Note that some colours may require more than two coats for full coverage, and that re-coating over existing paint usually only requires a single coat be applied.
