Project Evaluation

The first step in every commercial project is to understand the scope of work, timeframes, and the product and equipment requirements. We will utilize telephone discussions, site plans, onsite meetings, site reviews, and conference meetings to gain a complete understanding of your project. We will then provide a detailed quote that reflects all your requirements.

Scheduling

Upon approval, we will set up a schedule for the project which will include organizing activities with key people in your organization. Once everyone understands the tasks and requirements, work will be scheduled to start.

General Review

Upon crew arrival on-site, we will do a general review of the project looking at the scope of work, confirming colour selections, accent wall locations, reviewing site concerns, and confirming that the client has prepared the areas as required. For many projects, a review of safety and security procedures is conducted as per the client’s individual requirements.

Plan Implementation

Once the review is complete, the job plan is implemented which consists of the schedule for area to area completion and the timeline for job completion.

Preparation and Painting

Areas will then get prepared for the tasks required. This consists of moving and covering furniture, taping as needed, protecting floors with drop sheets, cleaning as needed, wall repair, sanding as required, caulking, priming, stain sealing, and any other preparation necessary prior to applying paint or installing wallcovering.

With preparation completed the finishing process begins; ceilings are done first, followed by trim and then walls.

Cleanup

Cleanup is done after an inspection of all the areas painted has been completed. Cleanup consists of removal of plastic coverings, tape, drop sheets, painting equipment, and ladders and a sweep or shop vac of the floors.

Final Inspection

Once cleanup is done, one more final inspection is conducted. For larger projects, this process is repeated several times until the project is finished in its entirety. Final inspections and approvals are then provided.
